This Overview will provide basic instructions on how to navigate through the various buttons, pages, forms, and tables associated with this website.
The website is designed to provide a pleasing and spiritual look reminding us to pray to our Parish patron saints for their intersession.
The menu bar which is at the top of the page in a gold/bronze color is a drop-down menu system with hovering capabilities.
Your menu selection choices will allow you to navigate through this Parish Web Site.
All menus with a pointed down arrow are hover capable except the Gallery on the Menu Bar.
As you glide over the menus with your mouse device if there are additional menu items then it will show the actions(buttons).
If you see a "right-sided arrow" then as you hover over the menu item, it will show a sub-menu of action buttons for that menu item.
As you hover over the menu items, you can select which menu option to take action on by clicking/selecting the menu item.
Navigation is also provided within each Page/Form using Buttons which are marked as to their use.
You may also use the back button on the Browser to navigate Backwards or Forwards.
But it is recommended you use either the Menu Bar or the Page/Form buttons to Navigate through the Web Site.
Whenever you make your menu selection a Page will appear, a Page may contain one or more forms. A Page is made up of at least three parts.
The first part is the Menu Bar & Page Background. For St. Mary's the page background is the Statue of Mary on a blue background.
An Edit Form provides for Parishioners to fill out for various things, such as booking a mass intention, uploading PDF's, Photos for Gallery, or a number of other items.
The second part is made up of at least two Forms, the first Form is a Header Form, this Form will appear on all pages.
It includes the St. Mary's Message Board which contains information to notify of necessary items that is of interest to Parish Membership.
The second Form is usually the Main Form which is a Static Form [meaning not editable] or an Edit Form requiring some input.
There will be buttons on either the Static or Edit Forms which will assist in Web Site Navigation. Therefore, you may only use the Menu Bar as required.
A Table is another kind of Page/Form that you may encounter such as when you select Liturgical Schedule or Liturgical Sub-List.
The Table looks just like an Excel SpreadSheet and it has its own buttons or Actions to take on either an individual item using the table Actions or
using the Table buttons such as "Print", "CSV" on the bottom left-side of the Table Page or "Report" Type buttons on the top of the right-side of the Table Page.
